WWI Fighter
While only seeing combat in the last few weeks of World War I, the Fokker D-VIII was a harbinger of things to come in the military aircraft. The efficiency of the thick airfoil monoplane wing combined with its properly proportioned layout, put the D-VIII a quantum leap ahead of all other designs of that era. Now the outstanding performance of this full size fighter has been faithfully captured in a 1/4 scale model from BALSA USA. She flies like a dream!
